Project Overview

This short film is the modern exploration of the greek myth narcissus, which delves into the dramatic complexities of unrequited love, capturing the emotions of longing, anger, and regret.

“Narcissus,” a narrative short by Wiley Kaupas, explores experimental storytelling and romance. Starring Haden Gibson and Cassidy Cline, the films roots are taken from the Greek myth of Narcissus, weaving a narrative around the complexities of love and unreciprocated affection.

This film captures Echo’s desperation for love from Narcissus and the tragic outcome that unfolds. Through Wiley’s storytelling, he was able to create a poignant reflection on the struggles inherent in loving someone who cannot reciprocate.
